Would it be a good idea to be an electrician and a plumber?

I'm a lecky,do a bit of plumbing & carpentry,but I'm in the process of getting a NVQ in both if I could, its good for your own benefit & any future employer as you'll be multi-skilled,which is what they would like these days.
