How long does it take to tranfer funds?

Hi I have two accounts with different banks. When I usually transfer funds between them it takes about one business day. If I transferred money on a friday when do you believe the transaction would occur? For some gut reason I am thinking the funds would not be in my account until Tuesday as it requires one whole business day. However I may be wrong. Thanks
