Is my surname Germanic/Anglo Saxon?

It is Anglo-Saxon...but that doesn't necessarily mean that your deepest ancestor was an Angle or Saxon, only that you had an ancestor living in England at some point in history. Surnames didn't become common till the middle ages, and were usually from place of birth/residence, occupation or appearance, so you could easily be of Viking, celtic etc etc. ancestry and still have a seemingly Saxon surname.
